However the old, higher-capacity PSP battery will still be compatible and using it will give an increased battery life, but the battery cover will not close when using the old battery due to the larger size.
* Weight has been reduced by 33%.
* Unit is 19% narrower (slimmer) in thickness.
* A video-out port for displaying on a TV.
* Improved responsiveness of d-pad[4] and buttons, confirmed in the GameSpot "hands-on" review: "several GameSpot editors have noticed that the d-pad and buttons on the new PSP provide a little more tactile feedback for a better overall feel."[5]
    * Wi-Fi switch moved to the top of the console.
* New UMD loading tray design.
* Removal of the infra-red port.
* Speakers repositioned on the front of the PSP near the top of the screen.
* Memory Stick slot has been relocated.
* Looser analog stick for better and friendlier control.
* The screen is a little brighter.

TV output
PSP XMB on TV via output adapter.
PSP XMB on TV via output adapter.

Sony has added a TV output for the PSP Slim available through PSP Firmware 3.60. Took them awhile, now, off to see what the hype is all about.

Developer: Level-5
Publisher: Nintendo
Platform: Nintendo DS
Genre: Adventure/Puzzle Game

The game is pretty much a collection of puzzles with adventure exploration between mini-games. There are a myriad of brain teasers and the player must solve a certain number in order to progress past some points in the game.

A hint-like system is also included so, you can get hat extra help when you need it. Although, to use it, it requires the use of "hint coins," that are hidden in the throughout the game and are in limited quantity... So, you better make sure you save them up and only use them when you need them most.

Oh, yeah, it's also Wifi capability as well. Wonder what? Well, if you're a puzzle whiz and looking for more on your plate, you can go online and download new puzzles to solve. Boy, they sure give your mind a good work out.

The game is set release in Mid-February in the US, and the sequel, Professor Layton and the Devil's Box has been released in Japan as of late. Also, the third game is in the making so you can expect much more coming our way.

Oh, FYI, there is a playable demo available on their official site. It's built for PSP, PSP Slims, and even the PSP Original.

Recently released in an article in Famitsu, the "Flexible Hand Grip Pad Advance for PSP" is available now for your aching hands needs.

This comfortable addition is roughly 980 Yen ($9.20) and can take away all those times you would drop your PSP because the damn analog button was too low. Not too bad for a price I'd say...

But, another issue comes up about the whole "Portable" part. This thing is bulky as hell. I am curious as to how this will fit in your pocket. And what's the point of it when you buy a PSP Slim to have it slim, not big? Comfort vs. Looks? I guess it's all up to the person to decide.

Vis-A-Vis
http://www.visavis.jp/shop/WebObjects/vv.woa/wa/dpp/8984556808018/?dan=dpc%252FPDA23%252F&ccc=PDA23

Oh, and also check out http://www.GotGame.com for all your shit-talking needs. :)
